Nice symbolism, then!
The reason I was especially interested in the picture (besides it being my home track) is that Keeneland recently adjusted its winter settings (so to speak) so that every TV isn't on during simulcasting.
It used to be you could go there in the dead of winter and the TVs in that area, which is open air) would be on. They've retrofitted the place a bit and only use electricity in the indoor areas now, which is nice.
But yeah, it used to be weird to walk through there and see all the signals like that.

Because the TVs are on, but no one is watching. This picture is from my March 2006 Lexington trip; Keeneland had a couple areas open for simulcasting, in which there were a couple dozen people, but the track was otherwise still. I thought it sort of fit the scene around the blog lately, where most activity is in the Twitter box. Racing goes on, blogging continues elsewhere, but not much is happening here ... for now.

That's an interesting photo of Keeneland. Any particular reason you chose it?
