Unfortunately it also shows why this kind of reporting isn't a valid alternative to old-style media - it's not at all hardcore policy reporting, it's being a hardcore hack. By all logical standards, the guy is much more dependent on lobbyist money, campaign info and partisan knowledge than any newspaper ever was.
