		<description>Is O&#039;Keefe&#039;s really just pointing out that if only the &#039;dailies&#039; championed the great story that is racing then everything is going to get better?  C&#039;mon.

The funny thing is that Larry Merchant, of all people, writes in to complain about boxing not getting a fair shake.  This coming from a color commentator who works for subscription based HBO.  And even then, HBO doesn&#039;t even get the fights he&#039;s talking about because of pay-per-view.

After reading both, you&#039;d think that people only get their news from the &#039;dailies&#039; or the NYT.  These sports are just falling off the cliff because they just aren&#039;t covering them.

I don&#039;t buy it.  Sounds like a lot of navel gazing and finger pointing.</description>
