Santa Anita Cancels
No live racing at the Great Race Place today: Heavy rains overnight have left the so-called all-weather Cushion Track in unsafe condition, much as track officials feared (DRF).
It’s unfortunate that well-intended, misinformed decisions were made re. racing on synthetic surfaces in So Cal. Isn’t it funny that Los Al has maintained a regular racing schedule w/o any problems!
